Walks with dedicated attributes took place on Mondays, ca. 1 hour before the demonstration of a racist, right-wing movement (Pegida) in Dresden. From the press report: “Citys are public space, so is the Center of Dresden. Therefore a group of people and things used to be in the streets on Mondays (January – April 2016).  Around 16 participants took position against the ongoing demonstration of right-wing ideology and racism. The group agrees, that this was an active and necessary way to deal with the situation in Dresden. “It seemed clear to us that we want to appear in company. It was my desire to be more than one.”, says Roulette Schnell. The companions are the reification if desires, problems, reflections and shadow aspects of each person. On of the participants caries a pine log, which corresponds his own height. Above one other a coat is hovering. It seems that it’s size is too small for a person to wear it. “Accepting multiplicity seemed to be a principle that helps to agitate against the exclusion of the strange and other.”, comments Jakoba Becke. The companions succeeds cases of unexpected questions and situations difficult to solve. Franziska Schweif: “If I do not know how to proceed, I ask the galloping hourse by my side.” These days this formation of the group appears no longer in the streets of Dresden. To be together with the alien and strange, to deal with these questions in public remains a permanent excercise.”
